Yes, they could scale it down--But, why? Why put any resources into that idea?

Because putting content on a restrictive schedule is never, ever a good idea. It just doesn't work. Other games have done it and have failed.

You have to carter to the ppl that pay for your product and keep them happy and being able to enjoy the game and participate in it. Not restrict it with arbitrary time schedule. If ppl are unhappy they will leave and the game will die, very simple. This will make ppl unhappy simply because many will not be able to participate in one of the few interesting endgame events.

Keeping people happy keeps them subed. More ppl in a game is better for everyone.

They'll just pull the same excuse, "We'll wait till there are enough level 60s before we do any work"

My computer runs very smoothly at preset 4 and have never had problems with the game up to Nexus. Even at preset 2, i can barely see the people, my computers graphics get slightly clunky and my reaction time gets slower due to the clunkiness.

Also, the healer mechanics specially that of a mystic requires to have a line of sight of the people getting hit, this is almost impossible when there are around 50 ppl around the BAM. Of the healers that are not system-bound, meaning that their computers can smoothly manage the extreme amount of people, NPCs and graphics, they are limited by the party group setting. A raid group might solve this. Meanwhile, what inevitably happens is that people die left and right, and the only tactic and strategy happening is zerging. DPS die with little care if they die or not, with barely any dodging , evasion, blocking or even moving hapening, a tank and spank like no other. IMO, due to the nature of the mindless combat and repetition, people will eventually get tired of it. The epicness of the amount people is interesting but i guess one can only appreciate it if one has a computer far above the recommended settings for the game.

No one enjoys mindless zerging.

People with far above recommended settings can't enjoy Nexus either, even with lowered settings. There's nothing in Nexus to enjoy.

Well, since this schedule is temporary, I'll just wait until things level out.

Tempers must be short with the Elin fiasco, the subscription/card issues, and whatever else I missed, but do we really need to be so hot-headed over this? If EME pisses you off that much, take a break from the game. Neither side needs the stress.

This "we'll wait until there is more 60's" excuse is getting pretty silly. There's enough 60's atm to turn this Nexus event into a slideshow on Jagged Coast.

They should have the nexus events adjust in difficulty (number of mob spawns, strength of mobs, etc) depending on the number of individuals present in the area. Also, they already built in a timer (closes after an hour), so there's no need to restrict nexus spawns even further. Set them up maybe every three or four hours throughout the day. If you want to restrict the rate at which people collect awards, make it so they only get rep/currency for their first X Number of nexuses (nexii?).

Honestly, EME, there are so many better ways to handle this...

Most of my frustration has been with the amateur Korean developers who created this game and their inability to polish, fix, or stream line the game in any way after a year and a half of being released...

EME is doing ok. I like 'em. But seriously, this is a pretty lame excuse. It just doesn't sit well with me. I hope their Nexus "refinement" comes SOONER rather than LATER. It's a pain as it is right now.
