So with no factions is this game going to be FFA PvP kinda like Age of Conan?

Factions kill pvp imo.Yes it will be like that probably.I WISH it is like Lineage2 where politics matter.

I know right. I am stoked that there is no stealth classes in this game. I do find the Political system to be quite intriguing though.

With the politics of it, it would be awesome to see negative repercussions (i.e. scorn from NPC's heralding higher parts cost or lower rewards) for ganking, that way you would REALLY have to hate someone to want to gank them.

From what I understand it will be quite a bit like L2 as far as endgame. In addition, in L2 when some bot loving walker using guild took over Aden forever and nobody could take it back because of their heros and red gear...in TERA you can have a popular vote oust them. At least that's how I understand it.

your guild is your faction basically if you choose to fight with/join a guild from my understanding.

I love the guild v guild war option and the random death matches you can start. Since everyone is on the same "faction" and there isn't going to be any pre-made factions that are split up by race or anything its all going to be player made drama. Which will be glorious lol.
