So what is the deal with people and their dislike of Mystics? I can NEVER get a group with mine. I'm level 24 with excellent gear and any time someone is looking for a healer for BoL I tell them I will go and they either never reply back or they specifically want a priest to heal. What's even worse is even groups with healers don't want a Mystic so I'm screwed either way.

Do this change later or is it always going to be this bad?

Jokes on them. Endgame mystic is the #1 healer due to crit buffs. Noone wants a priest.

I'm a 32 Mystic on Feral Valley and I get party/run offers faster than I can complete them. I find healing as a Mystic is easy and you have the added bonus of being awesome in PvP for those lame dungeon exit gankers.

My 36 mystic has no issues finding a party and I've never been rejected when applying to heal. So whatever is happening to the OP isn't game wide at least.

Havent really tried dungeoning, but i could see this being problem at low levels. I cant tell you the number of times i have seen people say that Mystic is a support class and priest is the only healer in the game.

Just comes from people not knowing any better. Or those who havent been told or are to dumb to pick up the balls.

But no worries, we rock the house with our sexy big balls.

That only works for organized groups when farming content. As the instance goes indeed faster with the crit buff of the mystic, yet still not that much shorter in reality. But this is not KTera, where people have an entire different level of play and actually know the game inside out and take little to no damage in end game content.

This is NA Tera, and I don't need to tell you how awful some of the players are (if you have bothered doing dungeons with pugs you can easily see this)

Fact of the matter is, mystics don't have the raw healing power nor the oh [filtered] buttons a Priest has, they can recover an entire party faster than a mystic can, and since the game is new in the NA market, people are bound to make mistakes while they learn the game. And now a days, the priest tools are more often than not needed when using IMS/LFD. A priest will shine in those.

But yeah, organized groups at end game content, mystics have a bit of an advantage later on and only because of the crit buff, nothing else.

Good players will take a Mystic over a Priest.

Yeah, people hate on Mystic because they themselves aren't too good at the game yet, they also get so overwhelmed when fighting a boss they can't take .5 seconds to press F and pick up a juicy health orb.

I run a static group of Lancer, Zerk, Slayer, Mystic.. if that last random group member we pick up complains about picking up orbs or simply the fact that we have the "B-team healer"(that's what he called a Mystic) healing they get an auto-boot!

I never have a problem finding a group... You might talk a lot in area chat so depending what you say, some might not want to roll with ya. Or they just don't know about the game.. dunno
