I was about ready to pull the trigger while the Amazon sale was on but was able to restrain myself. Ive been going over reviews and gameplay footage trying to decide if I wanted to play it or not. Reviews on websites are quite subjective and it is rare I will agree totally with a review. I take every review with a grain of salt.

Ive been burned on some MMO purchases over the past two years and am very wary now. A couple of examples would be SWTOR and Star Trek Online (felt like a buffoon after buying those two).

I would like to give this game a shot but with no trial I have zero confidence in buying MMO games these days.

Please make a trial available whenever possible. It would open many more potential eyes to the game and that would probably be a great thing...unless theres something to hide? :P

The game does look appealing to me, then again the other ones did too.

and no body cares. you can wait another month or two like any other mmo that gets released. have fun playing whatever boring games your playing now. i'm having a blast here on Tera.


oh and Amazon.com has it on sale or going on sale for like 30 bucks.

So where were you when they had CBT, OBT, and free play during head start?

Yes the game should have a trial, hopefully you end up buying Tera it's a great game.

We are being dicks because:
1) no one really cares that they didn't buy the game.
2) New mmos NEVER have free trials, name me one mmo that has launched with a free trial
3) i generally don't care about anything.

Yea, i tested it there for free.

Try back in a couple months. After the free months are over and the subscriptions have stabilized. Then EME will have a better reason (more financially stable numbers) to look into trials.

Because there was 5 cbt 1 open and 1 head start all free for the 3 month before Tera launched. If you missed it than too bad. Wait half a year or so before they put free trials in.
