When a noob (not newb) asks a question in general chat; do you give a response if you know the answer? If you do respond with a knowledgeable answer, do you criticize the noob for even asking? Do you snidely tell the noob, who asked if sorcerors ever get a self-heal, to ask the magic trainer myself and not bother others?
This is my experience with this game so far. The foregoing were just the latest examples; most questions in LFG (which in most games turns into a chat channel) are ignored unless you are one of the LFG Superstars.
So, the reason I am leaving at the end of 30 days is not because of game-play (which I find entertaining), it is because this community appears to have a high percentage of people who are complete a-holes.
Now, some of you may say "Join a Guild." Of course, that was an option, but I never join a guild in a new (to me) game until 30 days have passed so I can make up my own mind about things, and try to figure things out for myself.
In any event, to those of you who are not a-holes, this post is not for you. The Devs have come up with a novel approach to MMOs and have very clever writers; unfortunately, they attracted an immature group.
