What were you thinking, EnMasse?

First of all, capping OBT at level 32 is a huge, huge mistake. Ask anyone, and they will say that CBT3 was the worst in terms of content (many in PvP servers enjoyed it for PvP I suppose...). A 38 cap is much better, it offers an instance and a much bigger world. Even then, CAPPING OB at all when it isn't going to be wiped is silly.

And why, why would you cap the headstart? That is absolutely pointless - people playing from OBT will be level 38 within 3-4 hours, and then there is absolutely nothing to do except repeat the process of farming.

Please reconsider your level caps, EME.

Head start = 3 days of nothing but cultist's refuge farm. It's CBT5 all over again.

The vast majority of players will not make it to even 32 more or less 38.

So we have three days to make it from 32 to 38. Joy.

I get the open beta cap, but I really don't understand why there'd be a cap on the head start.

Of course people can, I plan on doing so myself, but the vast majority don't.

Open beta is a final test but also a preview to trial users who haven't pre-ordered. We want to give them enough to sink their teeth into but not the entire game.
