Well, your delivery was a little douchey, but your premise is pretty spot on.
your tl;dr was too long! ...
but seriously I must agree that its fine, really. I don't really see much reason to bicker about it. EME and Bluehole will decide where they want to take things, and the players will react both ways regardless.
Whats wrong with having social life and a challange in the game?
Define challenge. More exp to next level =/= challenge.
I must be really rusty. Because that Naga chief was having his way with me in every known position of the Kama Sutra. I actually had to change my mindset to endgame boss strategizing and pay attention. I haven't been in a game where a quest mob two stories high jumps around like a kangaroo on meth one shotting you if you take a moment to scratch that jock itch.
If dumb it down is what they they then Bravo! I endorse it. Right now the difficulty and leveling are spot on.
I don't know... some of the BAM's at level 30+ were actually a bit of a challenge and posed some deaths while you learned to fight them and what not. Though of course there are those ultra-hardcore players who solo BAM's.
What it comes down to though, it seems, is that people who are hardcore MMO gamers complain that a game is too easy while they level, forgetting that if they did it differently, it would be too challenging for people who are new to the genre.
Cool, you're a gamer and good at MMO's, but don't complain so that people trying to familiarize themselves and are new to the genre are pushed out. That's unwelcoming.
And we haven't even seen endgame, so shush.
Anybody who rushes to cap during Closed Beta or Open Beta AND then proceeds to complain about being able to rush to cap on forums clearly need some other activities.
Don't play the game until launch then rush to 60. Play the game until you can't play anymore then quit.
The game is fine. The people complaining will have plenty of hard mode to sink their teeth into later.
What the [filtered] does having a social life have anything to do with challenging content? So your saying, having a social life mean being mentally handicapped. Totally make sense.
