So far it's a awesome game only problem I see is when u die the health regeneration is way to slow even with camp fires. It's going to force everyone to craft pots an some ppl might rage quit cause it takes forever to get full health again. Maybe they should allow bigger ticks when near camp fires or a new skill like /rest or something.
You can speak with the restoration NPC and for a small fee ( 800 gold i believe ) he will restore your stamina.
Secondly these beta windows are short and your view of the game is therefore restricted. It will change when you are able to take the time to learn alchemy etc.
There a bunch of ways to get your health up though. You'll be getting so many lucky eggs that will drop pots for you. There is a cleric of restoration in every town (the icon is a green heart). Bandages, Arunic Panacea pots that instantly boost your stam as well. Once you start heading into your 30's all these things are extremely expressible, you won't have any problem.
Takes a few seconds to earn back the money you spend on cleric of restoration.

Well I do agree it does take a while, but there has to be some kind of penalty when u die. I don't mind it much. If I'm running a dungeon and die, I run back as quick as possible, and take a break for a smoke or food or whatever you gotta do. Good time to start a load of laundry. If the speed was increased, I don't think it would change anything that much.
Take a look at almost any other mmo out there... and length of time takes to regen your life,
TOR: 10 seconds max
WoW: 30 seconds with same level food
DCUO: out of combat regen in 5 seconds or so
EQ2:food/water regen 30 seconds
Could sit and go on and on and on about how quick modern mmos have life regen, and how quickly we can jump back into the game...then we have tera!
Campfire regen: 2-3 minutes
And could be longer...regen to get back into the game and back into combat is way to long and yes WILL kill game for alot of people. They will have to boost regen or add items to quickly heal up from battle, potions and potions are suppose to be for in combat regen so that leaves bandages and unless they get way way better later on they are pretty piss poor...
This isn't about risk vs reward and certainly not about a death penalty because we already have that it is called crystals breaking which is bad enough... needs to be a fast way to get health back and jump back into battle with out running back to town all the time... or being a healer and frankly is one of bigger problems with the game.
