There is an npc that restores to full stamina for negligible cost in every town, which also happens to be where you res if you wipe.

There are potions that restore you to full stamina

There are vendor buyable potions that restore 40% stamina in or out of combat.

There are potions that prevent you from losing stamina while they are active

There are no equipment repair costs.

The system could use some improving, but it is far from being as bad as you make it out to be.

^ This!

I put on 3 HP regen crystals last night and (at lower levels) this keeps my health topped off such that I can kill mobs non-stop. I'm sure at higher levels I'll have to switch out for some MP regen too (playing a Sorc), but for now HP regen is/was the biggest thing slowing me down.

You realize health potions are decently cheap right?

Just buy health potions or bandages....

Stamina:

Needed system since there is no durability in this game. Campfire / Restoration Cleric / Potions etc.. are all small gold sinks that are used often and by all.

If one person in your party dies, they alone can regen stamina.. you can actually move forward w/o out them. If the tank dies... you're doing something wrong. If the healer dies, you can continue pulling because heals do not put you in combat... so they can heal and regen stamina at the same time.

It takes about 2 minutes to get full stamina from zero.

Provides HP/MP buff, and allows you to use Charms while about 60% stamina.

HP Regen:

Crystals / Potions / Bandages / Healer (group member) / every class has some minor healing skills or glyph..

Waiting to regen HP is the last and worth thing you can do, but it's still an option.

I know this is a forum and people just come here to complain, but honestly I can't wrap my head around some of these complaints. There needs to be a penalty for dying.. else why even take damage? If you get super regen out of combat, you could just kite mobs.. get out of combat and super regen.

You guys make mountains out of molehills.

If you are outside and are not gathering while questing you are doing it way wrong. Gathering gives you the best buffs available.

This of course cannot be done in the many in door locations, but that is what potions, bandages and health regen attacks are for. I know not every class has them.

It helps to not just let mobs beat on you as well.

Out of combat health regen absolutely needs a boost. One of the strongest selling points of the game is it's high action combat. Having to stop for anything longer than 50 seconds WITH a campfire is much too slow and disruptive to the flow of the game.

I've been in dungeons where the party is sitting by a campfire just waiting and waiting. It should not b negligible but even doubling the current regen rate would be slow enough to make the penalty meaningful non trivializing it, while maintaining a sense of ongoing action.

Sitting by a campfire two full minutes is an absolute eternity in the gaming world, the point of the game is action, not inaction.

If you have to sit while questing for long amounts of times.. you're doing something wrong. You're goal is to NOT get hit... not just face tank stuff.

You dont need full Stamina to do anything... it gives a boost.. frankly I only get stamina when I'm below 50%.

And there are plenty of other options... potions / bandaids.. etc etc etc talked about 4x now.
