Maybe we need a failproof ecnchanting with 90% success rates so you carebears dont have to spend ANY time to achieve something in this game


Wow what a hungry troll....once again with enchanting like Aion getting all your gear maxed and enchanted after soo many failures didn't mean you accomplished anything...just meant you had wayyy more time on your hands to play a fail system....Also at one point they had scrolls on sale to increases your chance to enchant...that what you call achievement there? Looks like this one has no life? How do we kill that which has no life?

Well I agree that it's way too easy now.. Not sure if I'd go back to the old system without a few changes but I would rather go back then stay like this.. +1

cause there is no good reason to make people spend the gold and/or time to enchant a weapon then when it fails not only have all what they worked for disappear but also punish them for it by removing something they accomplished earlier.

having everything disappear is enough of a failure (on the players side, not the systems side).

EME was right in changing it.

EDIT: I would however vote for lowering success rates and not broadcasting every single +6 across the entire server.

Exactly. No one seems to understand enchanting in this game. Enchanting is only the second half, the first is Luxing, then getting the bonuses you want, THEN you finally enchant. Luxing an item makes it's base stats higher and allows you to upgrade it all the way to +12 instead of 9, and gives Stat bonuses at +10,11,12.

But, along with the removal of the -1 from happening for enchanting, they changed the Alkahest requirements and their costs in the shops. The Alkahest changes will be implemented in the Live Release.

With the Alkahest changes, you will need the blue/pink alkahest to go from +6-9/10-12, and those are only sold in the Vanarc Specialty shop. Their base costs are 180k and 330k, and they increased their prices due to the -1 removal so they will cost even more.

Also remember you need 1 alkahest per Tier Level of the item you are enchanting, that means 12 Alkahest per attempt for lv 58 gear.


Enchanting in this game is not as easy as people are making it seem. It is this games gold sink. You will be spending far beyond 100mil to just make a luxed item and +12 it.

I dont know about aion, but any decent game in the past 7 years or so had failure option in refining\enchanting. And not even that easymode -1 enchant, personally id like to see gear destroyed on fail, but with better chances.

Also, someone is mad pissed about aion. Go cry somewhere else.

Way too easy.
Gold was too easy to make. All I saw during the weekend was "______ +6 [insert gold item here]"
Got pretty annoying.

Gold was too easy to make (but also easy to spend). Some failed getting to +6 due to RNG but the majority somehow got by and managed to +6 or +5 their gear to an extent. I miss the risk vs reward factor prior to the change. Don't think I ever saw someone lose an enchant anyways other than failing. That isn't to say it didn't happen. It probably did.

BUT before I get flamed because I enjoy actually loosing an enchant (I understand the majority doesn't), I can almost guarantee by Sunday, everyone who managed to easily +6 their 27 gold or 30 blue will do it again because there is no real risk in failing.

Oh well. I'll take it for what it is if it means the majority will enjoy it. Keep as is I guess?

EDIT:
I was only mentioning the enchanting. Luxing is a whole new thing (which was also easy but fairly expensive). Tested out luxing a few 27 blues to see what the results were. Blew a ton of money but I managed to get the perfect stat fairly quickly. Got the money back in a good 2 hours of solo BAM hunting and off to enchanting again from all the greens and blues!

P.S. Were the rates increased? I noticed a ton of crystals and gear dropping more often from kills than the previous betas?

lol you mad bro? decent you mean f2p right those..enm changed it to this for a reason...Tera will not be a decent mmo like you want it to be..it will be great...easy to solve if you want that system then this system is not for you
