Well the game has an LFG Tool now so you don't actually have to spam LFG, but I think some people don't know it's there lol.

Thats basically the old LFG system in WoW that got them through the record 12million subs. I can support something like that, but nothing further. If you look on the poll, there is an option for that.

Im not sure, but Im told the current LFG tool is temporary. I wish it stayed like it is (with a few improvements) but it needs to stay FAR FAR away from the WoW style that all other MMOs seem to think is better without any proof.

Also thank you. Please feel free to share around! Hopefully this will give some solid proof of what players REALLY want and not just the voice the the cry babies.

It works perfectly fine if it doesn't TP you to dungeon i suppose, since that's all anyone's been complaining about. And honestly, a LFD system is great for getting other things done and finding a group at the same time.

That would be the old WoW LFG system. You could actually *gasp* queue for group quests, join LFG for zones, and more on the WoW system. It was great! I had mixed feelings when they changed it and over time came to hate it more than anything on WoW. I might have been able to withstand Cata had they not royally screwed that up.

Party summons only works in the same area. Though it is the same mentality involved. I don't think this poses nearly the same problem as insta teleporting a whole party would though.

Think of it this way. I am a priest. In Tera I'm a squishy and I'm one of two classes that can summon. That leaves me going out in open world all by myself and heading to the dungeon, making sure everyone is in the area to receive the teleport before I can zone in and be safe.

There is still risk involved even if I'm not a baddie. If I am a baddie I'm probably going to be calling for those lazy asses party members to come help my squishy [filtered] out.

And if my group members don't have scrolls to teleport to all the important cites with the good instances, they may have some running around to do all on their own.

People take this stupid LFD thing way too far.
It doesn't affect anything in the slightest. This debate is almost as stupid as the Elin censorship bullcrap.

No instant teleport on PvP servers of course. Even if it isn't much, there's danger from walking from one area to a dungeon entrance. On PvE it doesn't matter in the slightest since there's no risk or danger from walking anyway.

I think the LFD will be fine as long as it's server only and doesn't port you.

Yeah well i guess a system for party quests and such that puts them together on it's own is a bit more convenient then the LFG you bring up by hitting Y, even though that one is pretty convenient itself, would work better if more people knew about it :P
