What statement are you expecting them to issue? They added a cash shop, it's still there, logic dictates they think it's a good idea. Statement issued.

If they announced the game going F2P, I'd either keep playing it or not, depending on my feelings on it. Simple. I certainly don't require them to write me a personal statement explaining what the announcement already explained.

As long as the Cash shop sticks to vanity only, I am perfectly fine with it. But once I have to spend real money to buy a new inventory pouch or to get a faster mount, I am out. I don't even tolerate that crap with F2P games, let alone a P2P. Keep it cosmetic and vanity and I am fine.

you know your paying monthly for there services so i think they need to take the money you invested to make the game better, keeping you happy. not taking your investment so they can invest it on item mall to make more money with your money. instead of investing there time to brain storm a great idea for the game. they rather brain storm to rape your wallet.

the GD forum is to give insight to developers on how the community feels, right? the whole reason Minea was referring everyone to a specific thread was to organize player feed back. An official statement would be a response to all that accumulative player feed back. What I look for in an official statement is a final resolution based on the vanity cash shop that considers the communities opinion on the vanity cash shop.
Instead of arguing with each other, we need to look at the big picture and wonder why Enmasse hasn't made a official statement on the controversy issue of the cash shop. Both those and for against the vanity cash shop need to stand together and demand an official answer from Enmasse.
The bigger problem now isn't the vanity cash shop anymore, it's the fact that Enmasse is ignoring and neglecting its P2P player base. If we are treated with neglect now, then what's stopping them from doing the same in the future for the next big issue in Tera.
P.S.League of Legends does is a better job of keeping in touch with its community. And it's F2P people.. F2P.

you justify the existence of the vanity cash shop based on a two year old article? unfortunately I and as I'm sure many others weren't aware of the existence of Tera 2010. Are you saying that I was to just randomly before purchasing the game search back in time for an obscure two year old article explaining vanity implementation? When I purchased the game there was no hint-- at all-- of any mention of a future vanity shop.
