I know we all would like to play right now, but it seems that simply resetting the servers is not fixing the problem, obviously something else is going on.

Bring them down until you can identify the problem and sort it out. A stable game is better than 5 minutes of playing before crashing and rollbacks.

The problem isn't the maintenance anymore. It's the servers getting flooded by 500000 people at once.

I doubt the addressed the 'significant' bug, hence the crash. Priorities EME, stability>QQers.
