Personally, I do not want Queen of Argon patch at Launch...

This is what I have always been hoping, I want atleast two of the 58 instances revised to be for level 60, it would be an EXTREME WASTE, to have 7 dungeons at level 58 and only two at 60.

Plus the fight with kelsaik is too epic to be able to get stomped on by level 60s, its just not right.

Two levels in Tera is a big deal, especially when we're talking about a new tier of equipment.

I cant believe this, you guys really thing they're going to 'revisit' old content to make it more challenging for level 60s? No, no way in hell. Just why? Its more than just a little bit of work so i doubt the small team at BHS for the western release could handle it alone, and why would the entire BHS dev team revamp 58 instances, since it's old content for Koreans? It just doesn't make sense, as far as i see it, revamping the 50-58 instances is not even an option.

I'm sort of torn on this subject. On one hand, KTERA has been severely lacking in end game content, which is hopefully what is addressed with QoA. I think that based on the fact that this game is so westernized and leveling will not take ages, we need a full end-game experience come release. I'm thinking mostly that the 2 levels will not trivialize the 58 content, but if that is the case, I too would like to see them make that content relevant for us, seeing as we never got a chance to experience it. I do think there are quite a few things in QoA that we really need at launch regardless of end-game content that comes with it. See warrior changes etc.

Most of you guys are right on. KTERA is on a different cycle than we are in terms of end game updates and going with what they have wouldn't make sense.

Our dungeon progression will be different and tuned for our launch.

So are you suggesting that we'll have 'features' like LFD, cosmetic hats from achievements, new currency system, and maybe green crystals but the cap will be kept at 58~ for a while? If so, sounds pretty good to me.

Now your just putting words into EME's mouths. They said nothing of the sort, and what your suggesting makes quite a big portion of the patch null and void. I assume the Cap will be at 60 but the levels in which dungeons are placed will be adjusted, as Knoxxer implies with his statement about changing the "Dungeon Progression" and not the level cap.

What you suggest means that warriors miss out on their Damage Finisher for the new combo system they have, which I believe anyone who plans on playing Warrior(Like me) wouldn't want in the slightest.

Yeah I'm guessing they're just going to implement the patch and move around the end-game dungeons and item tiers. I do hope we are eventually on a similar release schedule to KTERA at some point, however.

Would be nice to have the 58 dungeons increased in level and retain relevance lootwise. But whatever, if Knoxxer understands the issue, I have faith they'll do something appropriate. It's nice to have them involved in the community forums.

I'm thinking Knoxxer's statement is being wildly misinterpreted. They implied nothing about increasing the level cap while leaving off other changes. The level cap increase comes with those changes, as it progresses everything at once.

I'm pretty sure all that's been clarified is that Ktera is on a different cycle of patches/content/progression than us, and that it wouldn't make sense to start out exactly where they are now.

They have gone through a progression in the content since their launch, and we have not. In all honesty, that probably won't ever change, we will always be behind them.

Pretty sure Knoxxer means dungeons will be re-tuned for proper end-game level play. We won't be months behind Korea like other publishers often are, EME and BHS are closer than that. EME has stated they would like to get us the level 60 content by release, and they're latest statement regarding the 1-40 content revamp for OB is a telling sign they're very much on schedule, but never made any promises.

As others have pointed out, 2 levels difference is HUGE in TERA, and it would be a shame to have 7 former end game dungeons designed for level 58 parties go by as wasted opportunities in favor of the two planned level 60 dungeons.
