I want the new patch because new classes are going to be launch, so maybe I want to play one of does classes.

This is not true. Nowhere does it state that the Queen of Argon patch will have new classes. It was stated about a year ago in an interview with the Korean Devs that their long term plan was to introduce one new class at some point this year. As far as we can tell, that is not included in the Queen of Argon patch and we have not seen any new info on any new classes since then. So there is little info on the topic.

Personally, I don't want a new class yet. Like Brian Knox said, NA is on a different progression and update cycle than the Koreans. I would like a chance for the NA audience to play around with the current game for a while. When we need new content and new classes, we'll get it but let's play the game we have now before we decide we need new stuff.

Now your just putting words into EME's mouths. They said nothing of the sort, and what your suggesting makes quite a big portion of the patch null and void. I assume the Cap will be at 60 but the levels in which dungeons are placed will be adjusted, as Knoxxer implies with his statement about changing the "Dungeon Progression" and not the level cap.

What you suggest means that warriors miss out on their Damage Finisher for the new combo system they have, which I believe anyone who plans on playing Warrior(Like me) wouldn't want in the slightest.

Sorry, i never meant to put words into his statement, though now that i read it, it kind of sounds like i did.

However, i was thinking more along the lines of what Vindictus did with their 'content' when i read Knoxxer's post, in that mechanics and features would be implemented much sooner than the content that was available with those patches.

I would still be pleastantly surprised if the did tweak all 50-60 content, but it still sounds like a dream. When i read his statement, it sounds like level cap will be kept so we cant progress past appropriate intervals of progression, which KTera went through.

Our max level will be 60 so all those 58 max level dungeons would have been a waste. We have shuffled them around -- some up and some down.

We will have more detailed information on it closer to open beta but it should create a much smoother progression to 60 as well as a good amount of content at level 60.

One of the reasons people skip dungeons that "used to be" end-game content (but no longer are) in a game like WoW is because it just doesn't make much sense for players to spend time in them. And that's because the level progression is so fast that everything you can obtain from these locations (either through reputation grinds or dungeon drops) is easily replaced with just a few days (or hours even) of outdoor questing. So what's the point of wasting your time in a raid dungeon?

This is very different from games like Everquest (near its original launch), where leveling took sooo much longer, where it was well worth the time and effort to pillage these dungeons for their drops because they remained useful for weeks or even months. These dungeons also offered some of the best rates for obtaining leveling XP, which was painfully slow even under the best conditions.

I think it's interesting/funny that something as simple as leveling speeds can completely obliterate the usefulness of pre-max level dungeon content, in turn wasting so much of the developer effort put into them. And that's only one of the many areas a little tweak like that impacts. Everything outside of end-game crafting borders on uselessness when players can reach max level in weeks or even days, which in turn impacts the economy. Go a day or two without playing and suddenly the friends you enjoy leveling with are 10+ levels ahead of you, putting a huge strain on casual gaming. Developers now have a fraction of the time that they used to in order to introduce new content to keep players happy. Work that is a result of years of manpower gets consumed within days. The list goes on.

I miss slower leveling and the happy stability it brought.

You do realize is absolutely no raids/end game content in KTera right? almost nothing to do save hardmodes... the lvl 60 patch came out revamps 1-40 quests to some degree and adds in end game content it is basically 1.0 a finished product at least way i understood it.

Can you confirm if the other level 60 content will be in at launch? Skills zones gear etc?
Also thank you for dropping in with official info, everyone appreciates it.
