Not signed. I'd rather they keep templates as crafted only, making sure that all armor templates are available, but fixing crafting. Keeps crafting useful outside of just endgame.

I think that shows how poor the crafting system is if you have to justify the usefulness of crafting (outside of endgame) by templates. That's just my opinion of course.

Screw that, let us cross-remodel!

I want a plate wearing priest and a cloth wearing archer!

Considering they won't even let us -try on- other jobs armor, I doubt they would allow this. However, this would be really fun to be seen in game.

Having played Aion, was definitely underwhelmed with the current system. Paying a fortune in gold to have access to only a limited range of designs, and none of them even looking good, makes armor remodeling in this game practically non-existent.
On topic, I read somewhere that in recent KTera patch notes they were going to turn every armor below lvl 58 into "eligible as template". Not sure if it's real. (and why only under 58? why can't remodel lvl 60?)

Templates at the remodeler NPC are outrageously expensive

Crafting the templates is also a severe cost in materials, and we can't even preview the look of the armors until they are crafted

Applying the templates also costs a significant amount of gold

Why is mere customization so heavily restricted? Most player's don't even bother with remodeling unless its the t12 enigmatic, so everyone looks the same.

...this^

Making something suck just to make something else that also sucks seem viable is never the best solution. They should just make crafting usefull period.

Just a friendly FYI, people have been getting reprimanded for bumping. It's against the Forum Rules. You can check on how often people are getting their wrists slapped for this - http://www.teradevtracker.com/

I want something beautiful and elegant and flowing for my priest... and I think I should be able to skin my robes to suit my style.

Aion and Rift had marvelous systems to stylize yourself.

I am terribly disappointed in the designs of the armor for my human priest. I look like I belong in a 1970s disco cage. They are ugly and, what makes it worse, even though I may get an upgrade on my robes, it turns out they are just a different color than the previous ugly thing I've been wearing.

What happened to some sort of flowing elegance? Instead I get a jumpsuit that is unzipped down past my belly button or only a front and back panel connected by rings on the side. Please, this should be an embarrassment to the game's designers, who have made a beautifully aesthetic game otherwise.
