The purpose of this thread is to be a PETITION for En Masse to alter/edit their current enchanting system. As it is now it is time consuming, expensive, annoying, all luck and overall not enjoyable. In the long run the way the current system is set up will only do damage to the amount of people playing past leveling.

As of right now, the Enchanting System in this game is by far one of the worse I have ever seen. The fact that when you join a random group they use enchanting levels as an indication of how good your gear is. Anyone else see the similarities to gear score here? "Oh he doesn't have a +9, we should remove him.". But when putting that aside, the actual process of enchanting also makes getting new gear far less enjoyable. Get a new weapon, great now I have to spend all this money and time to make it better than it already is. Why not just make the dam weapon that good to begin with? The needing gear of the same tier level is just used as a filler so they don't need to supply more gear content as well as to keep you pre-occupied instead of actual content.

This is not a discussion thread, it is a PETITION. To all the flamers, trolls, etc. plz leave your two cents out of it. This is a petition to have it changed, not stay the same, thus "-1" will not be counted and is just a waste of your time.

oh god, not another pepperzine "petition" thread... this is going to be derailed into a huge asinine argument. the enchanting was made easier, no need to mess with it even more

There is no specific proposal for how they should change it. There are various fixes such as nerfing it down a little to make it less important, making it into an actual profession, making it less expensive or changing what materials are required. I'm sure there are people who support each different method, but the main purpose of this petition is to bring light to how many people are not content with the current enchanting system in place. There are many different things they can do to fix it, but as it currently stands it needs changing.

+1 . I was told by my guild master hitting 60 to save up 5k minimum for just enchants. If thats the case then it need9s to be nerfed. I dont enjoy farming for gold and with that said that shouldnt hurt my pve experience because of it(gold sink)

If gold is a joke how do people make so much of it? Staying on 10hours a day grinding mobs and bams isnt exactly fun
