Ok, so i just pre-ordered one from Gamestop, and i assume ill get a code emailed to me about the head start play and the name reservations. How does all that work? Does it only work for the digital versions? Do we get those once the physical game is shipped to the house?

You should get the code that allows you into head start. This will let you redeem the digital items that you would get for just pre-ordering the game. I believe in the box will be a code that lets you redeem the collector's edition items.

name reservation was before open beta, which also passed. You are preordering really REALLY late. But yeah, you should still be able to get into headstart if you get the info from gamestop. I think you should have already gotten the code. Did you ask when you purchased? They are the ones you need to talk to.

Gamestop won't be getting you a preorder code, they can't anymore. But here's what you do: Contact EME support and explain that you didn't get one. Once you provide proof of preorder, EME can manually flag your account with the preorder perks. I suggest doing this as soon as possible.

Only reason i chose GameStop was because i got free shipment. Should i cancel and go with atari?

i did, but what they did for me was give me a code on my receipt for the betas, and idk if headstart will also be using the CBT client (therefore not requiring us to install our physical edition, since we wont have it yet) but if it does then go back and ask them for the code.

they tend to forget about these things when youre buying/ordering it, you have to "remind" them lol

and yeah only reason i use gamestop still is cause i used it a lot in the past and have a bunch of like credit and discounts n stuff, other then that i would never use gamestop :P
