It suppose to be guild housing however developers removed them from release plans to redesign them and right now they are working on them. Player housing? There's no single word about it so if it's going ti be implemented it won't happen earlier than 2013. But yes, there is a lot of room for player housing.

I wanna see player housing put in the fields surrounding the city, there's nothing there...why not make it a player housing area?

I must admit, I am a sucker for some good clan bases and housing that players can buy and customize and take refuge in. That's years of Animal Crossing and Harvest moon talking for you there.

I like your idea Verollio, there certainly is no lack of land. It would truly be nice if it was implemented in such a fashion. Considering the cities look so massive from a distance, housing blocks around or in the city would be a nice touch.

If you roam around the open world, you'll see TONS of area for this possibility. I fully expect this later on. But instead of individual housing, I think it's probably going to be guild-housing.

Mind, of course they say 'we are planning', but the fact that the structures are actually there with what look to be placeholder banners is a pretty good indication that the intend to follow through!

idk about player housing but they do have places for guild housing. so dont think theres housing for the solo individual players

Guild housing and Player housing will be nice as long as it doesnt leave the cities vacant like it did in EQ2......

SWG had some of the best housing and guild housing I have ever seen though so maybe something like that.

The areas aren't that big so it'd definitely be guild housing, not player.
