Please change the ridiculously small BAM reset distance. It's annoying to fight a BAM down to the last bits of it's HP only to have it do some charging/rushing attack proceeding to cross the reset line and reset itself.

Many of the BAM's in this game need at least double, if not triple, their reset boundaries. BAM's like Kumases are fine, but for ones such as the Naga and Giants that have moves that allow them to rush forward and out of the boundary is extremely irritating.

I couldnt agree more. It's very disheartening especially if you're soloing or duoing it.

The worst are the ovoliths, since when they're low on HP they'll start retreating. And reset themselves quite frequently.

Oh gosh, this is such a pain in the backside.

Personally the aggro / reset range is so inconsistent in this game. Some mobs have followed me across huge chunks of zones, while others will hightail it backwards when I run to a separate group right beside them.

The bams are absolutely the worst. Such a pain when you're trying to pull bams away from each other so you don't accidentally aggro another one, then turn around and seeyour 5-10mins worth of work is for nothing, because they just run back to their spot. >:(

Lol with the normal mobs I've noticed that, depending on how far they chase me, they will often hit me once and then run back to their spawn =/

The normal mobs are usually fine, its the BAMs that are the most irritating because they have a very small radius in which they will actually fight :(

I actually was Frapsing a BAM I was soloing; the fight was going very well, I was dodging this way and that, weaving in and out of the BAMs attacks. The Ice Giant had its eyes flash red and charged forward, I dodged out of the way, then it suddenly ignored me and ran back to its spawn like nothing had happened. It was pretty funny on the video it was like "I've had enough of this, I'm going home"... should have kept that video lol.

All it takes is a little intelligence and memory, keep it near the spawn point. I've only had one BAM reset on me, EVER.

Seriously guys, it's not that hard to remember where you started the fight.

My question is... WHY DO MONSTERS IN GENERAL RESET THEIR HEALTH?!

I can understand after a certain point running away, they all should.. but why does it max their health afterwards?!

And how exactly is that going to help with stupid monkey in bastion having reset point at 30m in some places near walls (it just dumbly jumped into for no reason) or a moloch that decides to glide two times in the same direction ?

Also keep in mind fight dynamics. For a non braindead group - any bam is a helpless pinned meatbag (it's even hard to call that a fight), but solo/duo it's getting a bit more dynamic (especially when lancer and/or healer is not part of that).

+1 FWIW to OP, but this is one of dozens of small things that EnM will promptly ignore.

Can't you tank it close to spawn point, if bam moves, reposition yourself.

Heaven forbid it's not easy to kill a big [filtered] monster.
