I like how it's split right down the middle on yes/no.

I like how the Elin polls are 80% against the changes, and of EQUAL count of voters. So we all know that everyone will claim this poll "is not valid", and in reality there isn't a 50-50 split, it is 90% "for my opinion" and 10% for yours.

Got to love people and their poll opinions.

I like how you'll use any and all openings for your "EME is mean to me, and hates Elin" agenda.

Cross-server LFD: Encourages bad behavior/Ninja looting, you take no responsibility for your actions(Hey, you'll never see them again!), No player bonds formed, no rivalries, just mindless dungeon farming, no-one speaks other than "HEAL!" "BUFF!" "INCOMING" "OMG UR A NOOB VOTE KIK"

No LFD: Bonds formed, people are more open minded and forgiving, they help you out, give you tips, and above all: It weeds out the losers. If you ninja loot, act belligerent, and just a general pain in the [filtered] to be around, you build a negative reputation and eventually it's impossible to find anyone to group with.

I saw plenty of No.2 on FFXI, and I'd love to see it on TERA too.

This.

I hate to admit, but it is true.

Also:

I'm all for having an option when using this tool, to not be matched with people from other servers. Make it so it can be used both way, server wide, and cross sider wide.

exemple: If Server-Only is checked, you only will be matched with people from your server.

*People who are using the Cross-Server search, would still be able to be match with the person who is only searching for Server-Only if his group occurs to say, be 4 people from that server already.

Its far too early to say that LFD cross server is good or bad for TERA, usually its good to implement after a game has gone through a tremendous amount of updates and cap level increases. That way theres always a dungeon group for people to group with regardless of levels.

Personally I dont really care but I doubt enmasse is actually going to change LFD before the game even comes out... its unrealistic because right now its all speculation on how cross server will affect NA TERA though it really wasnt that much of a problem on K TERA so... I doubt they'll get rid of it, just doesnt make any sense.

Start the LFD on just the server then, if problems come up, move to cross-server. But don't shoot the server community's in the foot before they even have a chance to get formed.

Soo wait... people complain that there shouldnt be rewards for using the dungeon group finder (and they werent game breaking or guild breaking, trust me.. I actually play KTera currently) because it rewards people for pug groups and you want to play with your guild... but now your saying the dungeon group finder will ruin the community because you will not be able to make friends with your pug groups since they wont be from your server. When we already know that your not playing pugs since you want to play with your guilds. Just saying...

And while yes.. some cross server koreans try to set the loot options so they can exclude you as much as the game mechanics allow when you have an english name, as healer or tank I just stop moving until they fix it.. problem solved.

I think an issue that everyone is missing is how the cross server grouping adds longevity to the game. When most people are passed say the lvl 40 point and you roll an alt, who you going to group with? The cross server function greatly speeds up the ability to run the content you want.

If there was a way to keep people accountable for their actions in a cross-server group, then I'm all for it! But based on current experience, there will be little in the way of doing so. Across servers, players will not feel the need to qualify their presence as they need not ever meet the people in group again, a feature that is enforced through anonymity. The equation that explains this is quite simple:

Player + Anonymity = Total Jerkwad

They could prove me wrong if I was wrong. So far they haven't done so, so I take it that I'm still right.

I vote No to LFD. IMO it's just too early to implement it. Let players explore the world, have epic adventures on the way to the dungeon, engage in epic PvP battles, etc. Maybe set it in place for low population servers if they're having trouble filling parties.
