Seeing Cross server in the lead is scary.

I'm really disappointed to see that people really want cross server LFD. The implementing of such a device will truly hurt the social aspects of the game, thus resulting in the furtherance of this game's path into becoming another MMO specifically catering to WoW players. The inclusion of such system will hurt the community and will result in a loss of subscribers just due to a diminishing social aspect of the game. I really do hope that they do not add such a system,.

The "hardcore vs. casual" argument is age-old, and statistically in most MMORPGs the player base will be largely (and subjectively) casual. However, there will always be a good portion that is considered "hardcore" and balancing the needs of a hardcore player while still providing what "casual" players need is incredibly hard. Any one change can set off one group or the other. I'd say it's nearly impossible for both groups to get all of what they want, but albeit hard it's not impossible to compromise.

I like personal stores and would have just turned them off in cities and turned them on while out in the world.
I also like the cross-server LFG; it's a great recruiting tool and way to meet new people.
I think boxes of Mischief are a waste of space.

I'm also what one might consider "hardcore"; I leveled two characters to 32 and one to 25 during the last three Betas, all three of which I likely played over 40 of the 60 hours available. I'm after challenging endgame.

Anyway, you can't just say "successful games don't cater to casuals", because it's not true. You can't "cater" to either crowd. Both need their own means of entertainment in the game, and every decision a company makes is going to be a business decision. A company's goal is to make money; that is the bottom line. The way to do that successfully is to please the most amount of people possible. I want TERA to be successful, so I'm okay with most of the changes EME/Blue Hole have made because I can see the business side of it.

Just my 2 copper.

Yea If you have been following this stuff It's clear that MOST are against and have been for some time. It's about 2 or 3 people who post the same threads over and over about them. I as well hope that such a system Is not added to Tera.

I don't mind the changes however the pets made me a little sad. The Dahlia and Mewy are both so adorable! I'd hate to see them go but it's probably for the best if they make people lag too much.

there was an in game toggle.

reasons for removal are more than just "lag"

Looks like a pretty even split. The pets look really really stupid, and the pets are also a scammer paradise. Cross server LFD is a must. But as for the boxes they could keep those in.
