How do you guys feel about the current state of the population and what the servers are like now in comparison to when the game launched? Do the server pops feel more robust? the same? depressing?

on VoT I have no problem finding someone wherever I go. Seems ok to me.

Started with 6 friends playing the game, now only 1 players regularly. Just my perspective but I've heard similar stories from other.

The population has shrank as it is expected for all MMOs to do so. TERA might have had more people leave than other mmos because of the glaring issues that browsing these forums will explain in coloured detail. But on my server (VoT) we still have a healthy population.

Basilisk Craig is doing great as well :)

I think Celestial Hills is doing well but cant say for sure by the chats on Facebook im assuming so

Dragonfall has a very large population, and is suffering from lag (presumably from too many people). I frequently hear from people that they transferred to Dragonfall because "X" server was absolutely dead.

The population has gotten smaller.

Who knows by how much.


There seem to be 4 maybe 5 "major" servers. Is there even a queue anymore for any of them?

I personally haven't noticed a difference in population on Dragonfall (but maybe I'm just oblivious to these things).

I started playing on the 15th, play a variety of characters (not just pounding one to cap), and don't play Tera obsessively, so my highest is 43 - and even Dragonfall feels dead to me. You find lots of people in the lowbie areas up til around BoL levels, probably mostly alts of people who are capped out or new people trying the game. Maybe there are lots of capped players. But at any other level in between, the game feels pretty dead to me outside of the prime time window.
