Praise is sorda crazy and inflated, and won't always accurately reflect the current status of a guild.
It'd be nice if praise reset every election (at the end of the election). While I understand that the 2 things aren't directly related to each other in a significantly meaningful way, praise has the potential to be an accurate indicator of how well respected a particular guild/Vanarch is.
More importantly, many guilds have members constantly coming and going. Even guild leaders change over time for many guilds. A well respected guild today doesn't equal a well respected guild tomorrow, yet praise as it is implemented now could take months to accurately reflect this.
It's also daunting for a new guild to rise to respect seeing as everyone else has had this huge period of getting massive amounts of praise. Competing in any meaningful way is pretty much impossible, and many players see praise as a sign of guild quality.
It'd also be nice if players were prompted to provide praise when they group with players of different guilds. In essence, ask if they were awesome and if they would like to praise their guild.
As I said before, praise has the potential to be an accurate indicator of how awesome a guild is. What do you guys think?
