I just pre-ordered through enmasse and my account status after logging in is still listing Tera as Trial. I pre-ordered for my wife also and hers is listing Tera as full version pre-order collector's edition. Is this a known bug with backend? I am really wanting to create my character today. Thanks.

Also how long ago did you submit it?
All pre-orders outside of EME will show as "trial" until the release code is put in. This has no effect on you being given OB and early release.
Does your wife's account show two pre-orders on it? When I ordered mine, I logged into the store under my account, ordered then logged into my husband's account via the TERA website (not the store) to order his. I ended up purchasing both pre-orders on my account since I didn't notice I was still logged onto the store on my account. CS fixed it within a matter of minutes, so if that is the problem you have, they are really good about fixing it.
Mine also says "trial", but I think in my case it's because I pre-ordered the collector's edition from Enmasse. They said that once I receive the physical box, I'll have to apply the retail code for it to say the proper info.

I pre-ordered the electronic CE from them, and my status didn't shift... when I opened a ticket a GM said the transaction hadn't left their servers for some reason, and I needed to redo it.
If you open a ticket and talk to them, they're hella-helpful people.
(I doubt the same thing happened to you as to me; that was pretty early on and I assume they've fixed whatever website-bug caused it)

It is perfectly normal to have your account listed as "Trial" IF you have preordered physical copies of the game. It will only show as the right version if you bought a digital copy from EME directly.
BUT, as some others have suggested, since you did buy from EME, it sounds like either something odd happened and it didn't confirm your purchase yet, or your wife purchased both accounts under her EME account (or something). So definitely contact EME support, if you haven't already.
