I did some searching around and have some concerns.
I would like to pre-purchase the game from GameStop so that I can get a physical copy (I prefer physical copies). If I am to pre-purchase from GameStop, will I get all the benefits as someone who buys the game as a digital copy?

I read that some people have purchased the game through a retailer, and their accounts are still saying trial.

Since I wont get the physical copy of the game till later, will I not have the registration code and other things in order to play the game sooner? I would hate to pre-purchase it and not be able to get a jump start. How will the company know that I have pre-purchased the game and that I am eligible to play early?

do it online. theres no real benefit as of now for retail copies.

Mine still says trial and I was able to reserve a name this last weekend just remember which sub account you attached the code to,some people that has used more than one bata code will have more than one sub account......as for the benefits it depends on whether the retailer is participating in the preorder codes I got mine from amazon and it stated on the page that they participated in the preorder codes I received my code two minutes later by email from amazon.

I believe the copy of the game comes with a code you input into your account to switch it from trial account to an active account.
