Custom>Alienware. Anyday.

This is like a Mac VS PC discussion except were talking about beefy machines compared to turds in suits with alien heads....

I'd just like to chime in that for 1200 dollars I built my own rig 3 years ago (not including monitor/keyboard/mouse) and it can run TERA on highest specs without any frame rate drops. Alienware looks cool.. (i guess kinda not really depends if you think the art style of stargate is cool), but it's horribly overpriced. The ppl defending it in this thread are ppl who have been ripped off by Dell and they refuse to admit it. The more money you dump into a rig, the bigger your epeen is lol :P

I see Drakedragon trying to justify his Alienware purchase.. Too funny. Sure, let's pay 3x for a cool case!

of what exactly? i'm not against alienware nor am i for it.

i have a gaming computer that i like, and i know my sister wants an alienware laptop that i'll be buying for her.
