Not sure why created it but it's so bad, don't get me wrong I love the game I played it every hour since open beta, the prologue is just so bad, I don't get it.
It's boring, it's slow, it's buggy, you start out as level 20 to rub in your face that you're level 1 afterwards? You get tons of skills you don't know how to use, it's jut so bad.
I do agree that the prologue was poorly implemented.
I wouldn't mind prologue if it would reward something lasting, now it just feels completely pointless and I mean completely. It needs a lasting reward attached to it, like a cool looking mount or something (Just not one of those pre-order horses please)
So you want a mount for doing a prologue?
Prologue could be much better, and hopefully will be skippable after launch (for non-newbies), but expecting a mount for getting a small taste of high level combat? pfft :P
i figured the point of the prologue was so you could get a taste of what your character was like at a higher level to see if you'd like it or not.
I have heard if you log out and log back in again it will skip it
I didn't find it as bad as people are making out, seemed fine to me
I liked the prologue a lot. I thought it was awesome, if a bit buggy at times. (certain mobs would not spawn, Elleon would not trigger, etc) but mostly it worked just fine, and it was very enjoyable.
Only flaw I saw in it, was the inability to change keybinds. You couldn't move skills at all. A Mystic could not add pet attack to his bar, and Berserker had some terrible binds (Flatten on F1, seriously?)
You only have to do it once, per server, ever, and you get a choice whether you want to do it again on a new character or not.
Seems fine to me.
Agreed terrible. Also skills are locked on the bars. Remove it. I feel bad for whoever thought that was a good idea. Or give the option ot skip it that is easier then logging out and back in.
See, I actually loved the prologue would be nice if it gave you something for doing it though, but I thought it was very well done and a nice introduction into the game.
