I may have missed information regarding this, but currently I can only obtain the items from the basic pre-order package in game. However, I did purchase the Digital Collector's edition. Are those items simply not available yet in the open beta?

The Digital CE is paid for up-front, but that's not the issue. No one will get their CE items until May 1st though. Right now, it's just preorder stuff.
