Well i recently dropped the 550 ti because people said it was a low-budget card.
Does anyone here run a radeon 6850, and can it run this game at 1360x768(720p) 60fps?

It's a pretty solid card, although not sure why you went with a card with the same memory as your 550ti, looks like they are both 1gig. Although this one looks to be slightly better in terms of the otehr specs. The rest of your build looks good as well, except maybe for the lack of an i7 :P

Should run it just fine. I run a 6550 and i run TERA on highest settings at about 30-40fps

for starters its not 720p but 768p

and your graphics card should cream it: not more needed : much better than ati alternative

I have one, and the game runs pretty well on setting 5. I get some issues in Velika with character models loading slowly (they appear kind of black). And sometimes I notice a slight stuttering when moving around in the world, its fine in fights but on horse I get this kind of disoriented feeling because of it. I haven't tested for actual framerates.

The rest of my system is slower than what you are buying though and I have heard on the forums that Tera is very CPU intensive. I have an i7-920@2.67GHz, 8gb ram, and a low end mobo, I think the bottleneck could be there. (I have a 1920x1200 screen)

It could perform very differently wth the i5-2500k especially if you overclock it. And you could always pop another one in later and run it in crossfire, that should be pretty powerful.

I'm running a 6850 at 1920 x 1080 and get about 40 fps with everything on max at 1360 x 768 you should destroy this game and easily get 60 + fps

The 550 ti is a solid low-end middle tier gaming card. The 6850 is only a little more powerful than that. You'll have to move to the next tier to see any performance.
