I came across my first bot today, anyone else seen any around?

How'd you know it was a bot? I thought someone was once, but it turned out he'd just numlock'd and had to afk to answer the phone, which is why he was running at a wall for five minutes.

I've only seen gold spammers on the Island of Dawn in Area Chat. Other than that, there were none to be found in the Valley of the Titans PvP server (coming from a level 37).

Stood perfectly still until a nearby monster spawned, then IMMEDIATELY like no delay at all, turned and attacked it. Using the same sequence of attacks on every mob.
Repeated this for about 30minutes while I watched.

On Feral valley, in Essenia Crest.

I ran into 3 bots so far, it seems priest are their favorite class since they are the easiest to automate and heal themselves. I know they were bots because i killed each of them 6 times without resistance, they never replied, they never stopped grinding the same mobs, and even when i stood right by them they didn't try to run away.

Odd to find bots on a PvP server...unless you can just kill characters on PvE servers as well?
It's a good way to tell if someone's a bot, though. A regular player would be pissed at all that.

No, not odd at all, Lorelei, as the biggest customerbase for gold selling will be on the most populated servers (at this time, the PVP servers).
I seriously hope EME is not one of those KMMO publishers who do nothing about bots and gold sellers. If they are, I'll go ahead and cancel my sub right now.
