Yesterday I started hearing randomly the sound when something enters your inventory. Today it's the same thing, only instead of the normal sound it's a pinging sound.
It happens when I pick stuff up but also totally randomly and pretty often. It's pretty annoying. I'm wondering if anyone else has this going on or is it just me?
It's been happening to me too. Even more so when I am in an instance with a group. It does it every time they get an item too.
i had that too but after the patch last week it was gone for me...though it really really got on my nerves, got it every 2 seconds-_-
You sure it's not just stuff selling on the AH or people trying to "bargain" with you by contacting you via the AH?
Both those make a pinging noise.
Yea, it happens to me occasionally as well.
Hi there - I also got thie issue - it started two days ago and I thought it was the standrad thing, just relog and everything is fine again. But not this time - it is there, always, I got it randomly without doing something in the inventory and when I am transfering items between bank and inventory it really is getting nasty since it is always keeping the last sound of the last transferred item as standard inventory opening sound and also as random sound while doing nothing.
I also reinstalled the game over night and it did not fix it in any way - I jzst started the game right now, hoping it would have gone away but it is still there.
When you use a potion it makes a sound and then each time you pick up an item or deposit an item it makes the same sound as using a potion.
Or
When you pick up gold/bronze/silver from the ground it makes a ching sound then for an hour or so everything you pick up off the ground or deposit makes a ching sound
or
When you pick up a piece of gear off the ground it makes a shoush sound.. Then for an hour or so everything you pick up off the ground makes that sound same with depositing.
I have gotten all of these sounds stuck before. No idea why or how.
I'm getting it too at random. Doesn't really bother me much, but would be nice to squash out that bug.
