Okay this is my second thread on this topic. I feel as if I worded my point wrong on my first thread because I wasn't getting positive responses and I feel as if people were misunderstanding me. I refuse to believe that only I have experienced and am bothered by this issue.
Here's a scenario : I'm a melee fighting on a hill. I'm uphill from my target, but the target is clearly within melee range in all dimensions. My attacks sometimes, more often than I like, do no damage i.e. they miss, going right through the target.
The problem with this is only melee are effected by this, being as we can't aim our attacks vertically with the reticule. Ranged on the other hand can simply aim down at their downhill target, or up at a uphill target, and hit them just fine.
I know the animations can't be adjusted, but I believe that the vertical dimension of melee attacks should be extended. In other words, if the range of a melee attack is 2m, than that should count for horizontal and vertical dimensions. It's only fair that melee are able to hit target that they're right on regardless of incline or no incline. Ranged are able to do this. Melee should be able to as well. I hope you guys understand what I am saying lol.
Please if there are some melee out there that agree this is a problem, please support this thread! Thanks!
