Seeing as how there is the same old issues being brought up, I felt I should make some definitive statements regarding the subject.

TERA is being marketed as being skill based, FACT.

Every single skilled player is pro logs and parses, they are invaluable tools in aiding us to achieve our goals and weed out those that hinder it. Competitive gaming is exactly that which it implies, if you are unaware what the definition of COMPETITIVE is I suggest looking it up in a dictionary. If you attempt to market to the casuals I shall launch a LAWSUIT in regards to your blatant false advertisement.
WoW flourished because it catered to both, which in large part was due to LUA support and the numerous addons.
Nothing is preventing the rp and casual crowd from playing together, professional gamers have no desire to be inflicted with them as a liability.
Despite what some claim their feelings towards so called elitist players are, those very same elitist players are the vanguard and models for the casual players. It is the competitive gamers that make a game flourish and provide others with goals and achievements to strive for.

No leave parsers out of the game. People think that Berserkers are bad DPS. Having DPS meters might prove them wrong. This will eliminate my reason to kick them from my parties. No Berserker shall roll on my gear.
