Hello,
I would like to discuss the reactive ability keybind. As many of you know when you use an ability that is part of a chain, the little reactive ability notification pops up on your screen and if you press spacebar you use it. I know many of you may not use this, except maybe fore retaliate.
As a lvl 40 lancer I have 2 abilities that I only use as part of a chain, so I took them off my action bar and just use space, this is when I had a 3 button mouse. Yesterday I got a 5 button mouse and the first thing I did was go to bind the reactive ability to one of my side mouse buttons.
As many of you may have found out, it does not exist.
Please give us the ability to rebind ANY key we want, including the reactive.

Why this is important to me, one of the reactive abilities I have is 'Shield Counter'. If I block an attack, I can use this ability as long as I am still blocking. But afterwards I have to reblock, so if I am slow on the spacebar press (it is slower than pressing a mouse button) then I will unblock, be unable to use the reactive, and guess what, I will jump. EVERY time I have been in the air and was hit by a mob, I was knocked down. It is like 100% chance to be knocked down while in the air. Some of you may being saying l2p noob., but that is just 1 of many examples of why I wish I could rebind my reactive ability.

YES I know I can rebind jump, but I want my reactive on my mouse.

Go to (K)nowledge book, click Chain skills, binding is on the bottom of that window.

You can rebind the Reactive (Chain) keybind, Bring up your skill book press Chained Skills then at the bottom of the windows you'll see the keybind. Change it and you're done.

I rebound my jump to R instead, never looked back.

If I change my chain skill keybind to F, do you think that will replace F as the action key?

Seeing as the action key is absolutely useless in combat and F is traditionally one of my favorite keybinds.

I'm at work and can't change this myself right now, otherwise I would post the answer.

You can set the Chain hot key to any key you want and it won't overwrite. It just takes precedence over any other function when it becomes usable.

Also, you can set the individual times that a chained skill will appear. Very nice option, imho.
