Oh but these ARE specific to the RP server. I have recorded my runs with people from Celestial Hills versus people not from there, and all but 2 runs have been ruined because of 1 server. I am using statistics at this point, which are the straight facts, to my entire post. This is why I posted at all in the first place. Sorry Hifi, I have not seen any of this behavior from non-RP players.
Arwydd, I am generalizing because again, it has been a "general" issue specific to your server.
The funny thing is, your sample size is so low and non-randomly chosen that if you actually were using statistics, you would realize that you can't draw any conclusions to larger population using what "data" you have.
I have to add my 2 cents.
Those of you from CH that don't 'enforce' roleplay while in your dungeons, brava. You're the bigger men/women.
However, I've had a similar experience to Arae with CH players.
I will begin by saying this isn't a rampant issue for me as it seems to be for Arae, BUT, it is an issue unique to those hailing from CH, as far as I've seen.
First of all, a BoL group I was in had a healer go AFK for 20+ min, to roleplay, effectively holding us up and making everyone a bit grumpy.
BUT, something like that is easily forgotten, as it could have been anyone, anywhere.
The second experience with RP-crazy from CH was in a different dungeon run, where my husband and I were the odd people out as the rest of the party was from CH. They would stop in every room after it was cleared, put down a campfire, and roleplay. They cleared the dungeon entirely in roleplay as well, killing unnessicary things, claiming something that indicated the persona they were playing wouldn't let the monsters live.
One could look past that, XP after all, but when it turns an already long dungeon into a 2-3 hour run for no reason at all, you really begin to pull your hair out.
Also-before someone suggests that we should've dropped group, I'm simply chiming in and stating that Arae isn't the only person having CH problems.
Now, do I agree with having CH removed from the LFD queue? No. I think that's a bit drastic. I think it's good this issue has been brought up though, so that those from CH who do give a bad rep to other RP'rs are called out and PERHAPS can come closer to understanding that RP should be left at the LFD queue window.
To respond to another statement made several pages back, I have made a character on CH myself, with the idea that the RP community was more mature, but I found them to be cliquey, and extremely hostile towards new people who were just being friendly. No, before you assume it was me and I'm butthurt, this was something observed.
And before someone claims it can happen on every server, it can, I agree. But I've found that other servers, like Blightwood and Serpentis Isle, have their fair share of trolls in chat, but most seem to have a good sense of humor and get along. (Unless the topic of politics or Ellin come up...)
I guess what I'm saying to this is, don't peg maturity and friendliness solely to the RP server in this case.

As an aside to this, but not in response, I'd like to say that if you're in Bastion of Lok (Secret Base), you really should try to clear everything. Dawnhide is worth more than the greens that drop off of mobs, with the exception of some crystals and Panaceas. Getting a chance to farm BoL repeatedly at later levels will always be a useful time sink + ability to make some decent money when selling 10x Dawnhide stacks for a decent amount of gold.
I've only read a handful of responses here, but I'll make my position known. I'm an RPer, who plays on Celestial Hills, and I do think it is ridiculous to try to enforce RP rules during a cross-server dungeon group.
You shouldn't RP (unless you can do so without compromising the dungeon run for anyone else - but that's kind of like driving and texting, it's hard to do because no matter how much you try not to, you're still distracted) at all in these places.
If you want to RP through a dungeon or have people understand what you're doing, then form a group entirely from Celestial Hills and don't enter into the LFD queue at all.
That being said, obviously removing one server and letting it fend for itself as far as dungeons go is not the right answer. There are many, many people I know who want to do dungeons to DO THEM, not to RP in them. Again, if you want to RP through a dungeon, then the best course of action is to form a group of like-minded players from CH.
that suggested we allow warriors to queue as tank, however also allow a person or a group of people when queueing to check whether they specifically want a lancer or warrior, or don't mind if either (aka both) tank.
To address the person that claimed my sample size was too small, actually, I never ONCE gave the number I was using. I did however list 2 examples, and then also claim there were many more but I had wanted to keep my post short. My sample size is over 200. You should know that 112+ sample size is considered sufficient. This sample size is not specific to my lancer only. My healer and dps also have suffered these runs.
People are taking what I've been saying way out of context, and I appreciate those who are on CH that do follow the "leave the RP at the door during lfg" unspoken rule. My complaint was mainly the following: I have (according to some of you) experienced just the worst-case-1%-unlucky runs ever. But I am complaining about this because I have received such an overwhelmingly negative amount of dungeon runs from CH. Now here's the kicker, I am only pointing out CH in particular BECAUSE it has specific rules BECAUSE it is an RP server.
Back to B link again I quote: If roleplaying is not your style then don’t play on a RP server.
When I read that, that's telling me if I do not want to interact with RP, do not roll RP. Unfortunately, I always have a chance of running into party-lead CH runs using the LFD tool, which means I am being *almost* forced into interacting with RP, when I clearly do not want to. I understand you can say "well many other people other than RP can be jerks" essentially, but my qualm is not here. I will deal with these people as they come along. My problem here is that I am again, being *almost* forced to leave when RP players specifically are RPing in my dungeon runs when I do not want to RP. If there were no RP servers, I would have changed my post to ask only better group options. Unfortunately again, RP is NOT my style and I am unfortunately being mixed with players that have and do RP and are lead.
You guys really like to focus on only my "exlusion" request, and it's rather sad.
Also, I should edit and note the following: where in my OP, other than the title, did I specifically say we should exclude an entire server? I complained mostly about an entire server, but my "solutions" were not specific to exclude, in fact, choosing other options was my main focus.

Your sample size is too small.
@PhillipVIII - Nice big letters! But were those RP big letters? ;-)
ITT OP using ballpark numbers to support a stupid claim and singling out an entire server. Troll.
I play with RPers all the time and they end up being better players than most non-RPers "I" see. Congrats, I just countered your entire thread. Also, expecting anything but Roleplaying in a game with the genre Roleplaying is entirely amazing on your part. It goes beyond my ability to perceive such entitlement.
