I dont agree at all. This is how Tera and MMOs works, you asking them to remake a big portion of game balance.

This would request huge amount of resources and time of developer and its totally useless because its works. I am fine with the way it is NOW.

They should spend those resources and time to add more content, etc ... not to change things that works. YOU SHOULD REALIZE WHATS IMPORTANT.

Another lame treath ... MMORPGs are about level differences, if you dont like it dont play mmorpg games, because everyone who has higher level than you will have huge advantages, thats how levels works.

The thing is, by expanding the level players are expected to play content, it basically IS adding content because players can then get more out of that same content.

SB is for 20-23 (and even THAT is pushing it).

If it was 20-26, that's 3 more levels players can play and enjoy that content with their friends (which also brings them to SM).

All it would take is for a level 26 to not do obscene damage to level 20 mobs and for those level 20 mobs to not do piddly damage to the 26 and the content could still be reasonably challenging and fun.

How is that not a good thing?

the lvl difference is there for a reason. they want you to do content of your own lvl. its pretty obvious it serves a purpose.

lower lvl players can gang up on you and kill you, i dont see this raid boss thing you mention. unless the difference is HUGE and at that point you never had a chance anyways. if the problem is lvls the solution is lvls, good news! EME has already implemented a system to counter high lvl players, its called LVLING!!!. go lvl! i knew i wanted to pvp in the close beta so i lvled myself to the current cap. problem solved.

your "fun content is trivial" comment is also kinda pointless, its not like you run out of BAMs to kill. if you out level the current content, gratz! you can now move on you more content that is new and fun. there is definitely NOT a lack of BAMs to kill in this game. you wanna stay on basilisk forever?

a better request ive seen on these forums is to scale you down to your party lvl. that way you can go quest with your friends and its not a problem.

re-balancing the entire game or changing party mechanics to make you personally scale.

one sounds a bit more reasonable. ill let you take a shot at which.

I'm not really seeing the issue here. Not because it was the OP that posted it but simply because I don't see the issue.



It's lvl 20 content and lvl 27 content which is low level content. All of the gear and rewards mean absolutely nothing the gear and rewards will be replaced by quests and other world drop gear in just a few hours of leveling.



I see this gear as NPC fodder for small monies. The faster you get those dungeons done the faster you can level even further and get better stuff latter on.



The level scales for PVP doesn't even bother me If I am getting owned by higher levels then oh well Looks like it's time to level again. This is nothing new this is MMO higher levels = better characters... You guys are just over thinking this entire process because we are capped each week and have nothing better to do except the same content we couldnt do before. When we reach End Game and capped 60 then everything will stay the same nothing will be different all mobs hard at 60 will continue to be hard at 60. Until or unless they up the level from 60-??? and so on.



This is MMO rule number 1 and RPG rule number 1 the higher your level the better you are.

I remember these names from the last thread that suggested removing the level multiplier.

Point of fact, if you don't suck, you'll be able to compete in PvP just fine. If you DO suck, you'll want nothing more than to keep the multiplier in because it's the best crutch a ganker has EVER had...
