I only made it to level 23 during open beta. Last night a friend and I stepped into Secret base for the first time and we were both 21 or 22. He was a Lancer and I was a Mystic. We had the place cleared in an hour. We even made the mistake of not fully clearing and pulling the last boss, causing at least 6-8 pulls of mobs to come at us at once. He taunted all of them and we had very little trouble clearing them and then the final boss.

Is Secret Base meant to be that easy because it's the first instance? I hope things start to get harder and he and I can't just 2-man our way to victory, that would get awful boring.

This was most definitely an interesting experience. Nothing in there really did any superb amount of damage, and with my Stand Fast I was able to take waves of enemies as long as I kept them in front of me. The boss fights took a little longer since it was just 2 people, but if we were capable of doing it with just the two of us, I can only imagine how easy it would be if we have 3-4 people in there, or more if it's even allowed.

Any word on how this works? Does difficulty go up with amount of people?

This seems rather hard to believe 2people clearing it in 1 hour when they are on level. And they had additional mobs at the end.

If this is true Lancers do to much damage and take way to little.

difficulty does not change with how many people you have.

and secret base is your first instance - just think of most other first instances in MMOs.

I heard the challenge only starts picking up mid 30s, and although I haven't tried K-TERA, I wouldn't be surprised if instances are pretty easy until 40.

I have no interest in trolling here, I'm genuinely concerned with the difficulty and do hope it goes up.

I could have sworn we were in around 10pm and our by 11, maybe I didn't look closely enough but it honestly wasn't more than an hour, hour and a half tops.

It is easy I did it with my lancer and my gf had her archer...we cleared it level 21 with the 2 of us..then we did it to sm level 27 just the 2 of us again...the first 2 are not hard at all...you can 2 man the first 2 instances in this game without a healer if you know what your doing and play your class.

Ok then let's say I'm wrong on the time, that's not important. I'm just worried about being able to 2 man an instance, even if it is the first one. Just hoping it gets tougher or we're in for a boring game.
