Hey guys, my guildy and I have noticed within the first few hours of play that for the most part our chat tabs are always broken.

If you tab to a different chat, you lose maybe 20 minutes worth of chat log.
If you zone into another area, the same thing happens.

Happens with party, guild, and general.

So chat is unusable.

Anyone else have this happen?

I'm having this same problem. I'm glad it's not just on my end. I hope they fix this. :/

Fortunately for my friends the Steam interface works if you load the Tera launcher into it. But obviously that doesn't help meeting new people :O

Any word on this being fixed?

I've traced one of the sources. Apparently any time you type a " " in chat, it breaks chat. It has thus far for myself and all of my guildies.

Hopefully that helps.

Yea, its really annoying. especially getting whispers. then click the tab to whispers and its not there... friends are getting pissed cos they think i'm ignoring them. it's a pain before you can make a guild

Please also fix the issue of being unable to invite people to your party from chat. The invite to party option in context menu fails to show up even if they are in my guild and not in a party.

Yep also getting this. It's becoming a real problem for keeping track of all the conversations I'm having in party, guild, whisper, etc.
