And I've noticed a seriously underwhelming amount of coverage of TERA during Open Beta and the leadup to Open Beta. Not sure what it is, but I'm curious what's keeping the press from covering the release more fully. What do you think?

Quiet before the storm?

It's pretty unusual. By this point I expect to see full page ads on gaming websites and feature articles on the MMO sites. They may not have the money for widespread marketing, but it would be nice to see something. MMORPG.com had an hour long livestream Q&A with some folks from Aion recently, but there is almost no coverage about Tera.

I think the game will be favorably reviewed by the media, but there is just no hype behind this game right now.

Yah, I have been concerned about this for quite sometime. Its alarming how the main stream press aint covering this game at all. Its shocking only Ign did any coverage , and thats because they had a deal with Enmase or some sort of agreement.

Very little coverage they have dont the most minimal coverage. This should be addressed and I think these guys should release a video point out the Strong points of this game which is the combat and Pve Combat. So make a comparison video to Gw 2 etc.. be that aggressive...Because Main Stream media isn't doing there job making the accusation of how terrible gw 2 combat looks compared to tera.

Also the reason this game isn't getting a lot of coverage and isn't getting a postive response from the masses out there is Because of

ELINS ELINS !!!! They should deleted that race, or showed very little of it.

Probably being paid off by NC Soft. The few times I see anyone covering the game all they do is bash on it. Then they go praise inferior games that have some of the exact same features that they were bashing on Tera for having but they don't mention them.

they need to put ads on tv. sc2 wow they did it and look at them now.

It's Asian mmo, they don't get a lot of coverage.

ELINS ELINS, the first video that aired from main stream coverage website was elin. Alot of negative feed back was given by that.
What enmase needs to do ,, is make a video of combat broken down. Also release PVP videos.. Seriously no PVP footage has been released.

Honestly the only reason I ever found out about TERA was a few articles complaining about the Elin censorship.

Did see an add on youtube once, I think that was about it. So agreed - very little coverage, and what I've personally seen has been pretty negative (but again, aimed entirely at the censorship and not the rest of the game).
