I'm willing to bet money that there's no way they deleted anyone's characters after spending months shouting that they wouldn't be.

You don't have to remove characters from a server in order to change the displayed population range on a server list.


But if you look at it this way, Freeholds was full and Dragonfall was high prior to this. Now Freeholds is recommended and Dragonfall is medium. Im betting on deleted poo charas just there to take names.
Or you could look at logically and say hey maybe they expanded the population capacity for those servers :) They did it VoT so why not the others? especially now that head start is tomorrow and launch is right around the corners with those servers already being high/full they needed more space lol ( yes I'm aware they will add more servers ) what we should hope for is that they are going to do this right and not give us a hundred servers that will all be at low pop lol. Which is why I think they just expanded what these servers could hold lol

As I said, the population range displayed on a server list can be modified without changing the population on the server. If EME wants a server to display as Medium, they can make it appear so, without touching the actual character population.

yes this is true lol and god knows it happens every day in every other mmo for many different reasons but think about it, we,ve had two patches this week so assume they just increased what those servers could hold which needed to be done any way ( maybe this isn't the case maybe they will do it that on Monday i don't know) so yeah it's plausible they are showing what they want people to see which is the only other explanation they already said people have a week after to launch before they delete characters so that is not the case

1-11 characters should be deleted. It was possible to get to 32 in a day. 1-11 characters are worthless and should be deleted.

None were high previously, so it seems some PvP servers have less room and some PvE servers now have more room.

Yeah I think I was just being too vague without saying how they'd make it change, you pretty much hit it on the head - increasing caps would make previously "High" servers drop down to "Medium".

Although where did they say they were only giving people a week before they deleted? 0.o
Last mention I saw was that they had not determined a timeframe for deletion.
