I hear that they are removing these from the game come release. Can anybody confirm?

To be honest.. I hope they do. Though it's cool... only a small percentage will actually be able to do it. Work, kids, school, etc etc... very few people have no life that can play 24/7 (or lul took vacation off to play a game that will be online for years).

It doesn't really affect me in any way if they keep them... just shows me who went hardcore nerd on the game when it first came out, not that they are 'skilled'.

Also, KTerA players have a massive advantage to get the titles... I assume 99% of them will be taken by Ktera players.



*Note to mention how it encourages players to neglect their health. How many people have died from super long gaming marathons? I suspect this might be a major concern for removing them, if they are even doing such a thing.

I don't see the need to remove them. The fact that most can't get it does speak for it's namesake, and that is being an achievement, not just a milestone everyone crosses. Just my opinion, anyway

I'm sorry, but sitting in front of your computer for 24hr a day until you hit cap is not an achievement, it's unhealthy. I've done it before in my younger years and look back on how dumb that was. leveling quick is one thing, wanting to get to cap to experience end game fast. Plenty of people do that, including me. However, shooting for a server first title, while neglecting everything else in your life is not something the company should reward or encourage.

I personally don't care that one person per server is going to get the title but it's not something special to be the server's first anything since others are just trailing you.

Some have the time, some find it worth it, many who would go for the title will be going for 60 asap anyway. So taking it away does little good to what you're saying Xaaz. It's a legitimate ingame achievement, unless you want to dispute the skill of other simple achievements like killing 100 monsters, which just takes someone mindlessly slaughtering tons of lowbie monsters.

If they do get rid of it though, it's not a big deal either. Just saying it's silly to get rid of it, for said reason.
