People seem to think it's a joke when you hear these lancer stories but it really ruins the fun of the game. I'm hoping this thread will inspire developers to act and make warriors or berzerkers be able to tank more and make them an alternate tank for the queue. Please share your stories with proof. Thank you.


This lancer went offline shortly after starting the first boss fight in FoK leaving us to finish the boss on our own which we did. He didn't want to continue because he would have to share loot with the Berzerker.


This lancer would not cooperate with us for a Kelsaik's Nest run insisting that we buy his consumable item required for the dungeon.

First one wanted to kick Zerk and second one wanted you to pay for him, both leave.


I swear i've seen this before.

You do have a point, however this is against forum rule's. Would be better suited for a fan site.

The first one could have simply been loss of connection.. i tank too it happens.

Second one just sad, very sad... it's what i would call trash player. He's doing the run for his benefit as well as others, no need for him to feel he's in any seat of power.

Ok here is the best one:

I queued for a dungeon, re ran, no one died, we all got awesome loot, said goodbye and then we all left the party.

Similar thing happened to a guildie and me. He's a zerker also. 1st time we qued, the lancer didn't like the idea of splitting loot with a zerker and the fact that my ilvl was lower than what you get from quest gear. Which was stupid since why would I equip something that give me lower stats even if it has a higher ilvl...since archers scale with gear.

2nd time when me and the same guildie qued again, once we got into the dungeon, the lancer tried to votekick my guildie. He disbanded group when he couldn't kick my guildie lol.

I don't understand why some lancer can't take competition in getting loot. They have more chances in getting their enigmatic gear due to insta-que.

Being a lancer i've never had any of these issues.

Being a lancer in a good guild. I've never used the LFD tool.... and i've never had any of these issues with bad players and i've never had to worry about ilvl.

Seems like we have a common issue here. Ya'll are trying to use a Tool when you should be using a guild.

Exactly, we're using a tool for which it is intended for. I do run with guild members, but sometimes that option is not always viable since there isn't always an abundance of tanks.
