Show Off Your Tera Rig!

I'd like to start a thread where people can post their computers (specs, photos, anything) or computers they're going to get. Mainly for bragging rights, but also if someone needs help with anything they can post it here. And for all you computer experts out there, I'd like you to rate these systems in respect to Tera's maximum possible graphics including anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering (not even sure if Tera has these options, but you get the point MAXIMUM graphics) inside crowded areas and outside, where your pc will really be tested, on a scale from 1-5.
So lemme begin! This is the system I'm planning on buying from CyberPowerPC. It's a custom built Fang III - Rattler. I'm Canadian so theres alot of aditional fees that I'm going to have to pay which will bring the price to near 1400$. The computer on it's own is 1000$.

Here's the specs:

•CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-2500K 3.30 GHz 6M Intel Smart Cache LGA1155 (All Venom OC Certified) [-96]
•HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)
•MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory [+3] (Kingston HyperX)
•MOTHERBOARD: * [CrossFireX/SLI] GigaByte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 ATX MB w/ Lucid Virtu + Intel Smart Response Technology & 7.1 Dolby Home Theater Audio, GbLAN, USB3.0, 2x SATA-III RAID, 2 Gen2 PCIe, 3 PCIe X1 & 2 PCI (All Venom OC Certified)
•SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
•VIDEO: AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 16X PCIe Video Card [+27] (Major Brand Powered by AMD

So tell me what you think! My budget is 1000$ too (for the pc itself, the shipping and stuff is out of my control).

That's really too bad about the shipping prices. I think you're severely, severely overpaying for what you'd need to run TERA on max. But if you can afford it and don't mind, more power to you! :D

Why not build your own rig....I don't understand why people think its so alienating to them. Find case usually mid-full tower, plan on what you want intel or AMD and build from there. The components say right there eon the specs if they are comparable or what they are intended for.

Yeah, I'm actually gonna do just that. Waited as long as possible so I could build my PC right before TERA came out, so prices for the parts are as low as they can get. If you know a friend who can build PCs or can do it yourself, you can save a ton of money by ordering all the parts separately. You'd be absolutely amazed how powerful and inexpensive PCs are if you can manage this. Since you're ordering one I am guessing you aren't comfortable building one, but if you know a friend you're gold.

Those spec are great. The only way to do better is if you buy the parts and build it yourself, although I personally would use a nVidia gpu. Also, make sure your PSU is powerful enough and isn't a flaky brand. As well, be sure you have a really good monitor otherwise all that graphical power will go to waste.

Congrats on your new PC criticisim aside (it's kind of what I do) I'm happy for you and if you're anything like me getting a new computer is one of the best things in life! xD

It's not significantly cheaper to build your own, although you do save a little little bit. The main advantage is you get better brands for your mb, psu, ram, etc... basically where the pre-builts try to cut corners on cost.

But yeah it's not difficult to assemble a computer from parts. Pretty much all you need is a screwdriver.

And this is already, what, the third thread on computers?

Yeah, an alternative would be buying inside Canada, but a computer with that kind of potential will cost about the same anyways... Canada's computer parts are ridiculously expensive compared to the states. And do you really think so? I read up a bit on the GPU and it says this 1 is just about 5fps more powerful than the 5850. Judging by this thread http://www.terapvp.com/threads/tera-graphics-review.474/ thats about 45 fps on max settings and I should be at 60 FPS to enjoy the game. So I find it a little bit weak to play Tera on max. And I also plan to play at 1920x1080 resolution. Another thing is the 6870 offers very good Crossfire potential so it will be good for future graphical upgrades in Tera and other games. I'm hoping I get a good 4 years out of this rig.

Man that is overkill! If you'd be so kind as to place your home address in the space below along with an attachment specifying your daily schedule, I can guarantee that your PC will be... safe. Very safe...

Really? I guess I missed the others =/. I skimmed by the 6 or 7 pages of the general discussion and didn't see any others.
