Hi,

Is there any advantage or bonus to use the Spacebar combos?
Other than it's easier to use the skills..
Since CBT1 i don't use it, I prefer to to it like the old way.

My advice - don't use the spacebar trigger for anything but retaliate. (And buffing)

You mean the X button?

Meh, it really depends on you class. As a warrior, retaliation is handy, i'll also chain some of my lesser used skills together, and i'll usually chain my Smoke Aggressor to the attack command so that he'll start fighting faster. Other than that I prefer to use my main skills manually so that I can better control the timing and direction.

That's exactly what I'm doing.
Did unbind all skills combos except retaliate.
What's the utility of spacebar then?

I personally don't like using them, but it does make thing simpler if you have a rotation you like to do. I just hate missing the combo and jumping in front of an enemy and then getting knocked down.

The advantage to using them, is that comboing the skills usually leads to quicker animation time for the subsequent one. Of course, spacebar isn't required to do this, one can still use the usual hotkeys for it as well.

Pretty much this. I gave up using the spacebar combos about an hour into the game, and never looked back. Aside from retaliate, if I wait just a little bit too long, then attempt to hit spacebar right after the combo is no longer available, I'll accidentally jump. Nothing but trouble, and it takes away from the experience of the game a little in my opinion. I'm sure those that loved to macro their other games enjoy the thought of the single button combo system, but I find it much easier to hit the skill itself.

Well in honesty if you have a skill that is ONLY available after you've used a different skill then you can use spacebar for that instead and save yourself some action bar space by not putting that skill on your bar. But it's a preference thing and I'd prefer to have my skills on the bar anyway. Maximum it would probably save you 2-3 action bar spaces depending on class though.

I simply rebound it to something other than spacebar after having it jump a few too many times. I find it very useful

Some people go overboard with spacebar triggers though and it doesn't work very well. For an example of BAD use of spacebar triggers watch this from 9:09-10:13

He actually tries to set up a complete questing rotation with it...

Great, great,
In Unreal 3.0, I like to jump like a rabbit without doing unwanted skills.
