I wanted to try out Gw2 BUT im not gunna fork over 50$ for a game only to find out it is trash like i did with rift >.< .Honestly from what iv seen and read of Gw2 it seems as if it will allways be "that other game" it will never rise to the hype that it has been given.

Pretty much. The only reason I pre-ordered Tera was because I was allowed to try it first. If not, I wouldn't be here. Just like I am not on GW2 forums right now.

Rift wasn't bad. Most certainly wasn't trash, it was just to much of the 'same'.

i tried to give one of my buddy passes to someone IRL. he said he'd tried TERA and had to move on to GW2 and i should come try it with him.

Imo i thought rift was trash sorry if you dissagree but i will agree with you in that it was the same old same old run of the mill mmo .I think TERA is a step in the right direction for mmo's in 2012 =)
