Simply give Zerkers a taunt.

Each brings something unique to the table and many zerkers will not want to play as a tank however actually tanking isn't the issue when it comes to this class but once the rest of the group comes in with DPS and Heals Zerkers don't have an instant aggro gain. A Zerker in my guild is able to duo Fane of Kaprima with a single healer but once there is a fulll group run with other players aggro gets messed up and the zerker is unable to maintain threat.


Many players are currently having problems with the LFD system as Lancers are the only class allowed to que up as a tank. If Zerkers were given a taunt and the "option" to que as a tank this could greatly benefit the players who use the LFD system.

Terrible. Zerker can't tank some of the end game bosses at the moment.

GLHF with the lancer boss in FoK.

That [filtered] hits so hard it's stupid.

If any class needs to be able to que for tanking its wars, and even they have trouble tanking certain bosses

Also we ran just fine with him tanking the lancer boss but we wiped 2 times because the person doing the fire orbs died.

Maybe give to a lancer a skill taht crit for 30k like zerker also... -.-

I wonder what people are going to do when they find out you don't NEED a tank for most of the dungeons...

If 5 people know their class and keep moving and aware, you don't need to que for a lancer.

But, of course, people like to stand back and pew pew...

Once warriors are allowed to queue as tanks the problem will be gone.

Why you guys always assume that "class can tank" equals "player want to tank"? If that was true every warrior out there would want tank.

This whole lack of tanks is not due lack of tanking classes, but because people simply do not like tanking, or taking responsibility. Whatever bad happens first to blame is tank for not fixing mess some stupid player did. Some people just do not want that kind of annoyance so they roll dps classes.

Raising Lancer DPS on quests mobs, allowing warriors queue as tank, and letting zerkers tank would raise numbers of tanks for a bit, but not too much. People who do not want to tank will not tank.

As for your idea, if you want zerkers as proper tanks they need more damage mitigation, and some "oh [filtered]" tools. Imagine amount of whine and cheese from PVP crowd.
