Spawn timers.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that these timers need to be fixed.
The majority of times I've actually died have been when mobs have spawned on top of me about 15 seconds after I killed them.
There needs to be a delay between when they spawn and when they can aggro people, it's absolutely ridiculous this MMO doesn't have that feature.
I understand the fast spawn timers for very populated servers, but you have at LEAST 5 channels in each area that is highly populated so it kind of makes the fast respawns void.

All in all Tera is a wonderful game thus far but this is the one thing that is pissing me off to no end.

I agree with you. Sure you can move away but either 1) they run back and reset or 2) there's no space because other mobs take up the space, usualy BAMs.

The instant agro after spawns also pisses me off.

this should only be happening in open world dungeons where the spawn rates are high for a reason...

open world monsters tend to have a fairly lengthy respawn time of at least a minute

The respawn timers in the open world dungeons is WAY too fast. Many games make it so if things are being killed quickly they respawn faster. I have tried switching channels to one where no one else is killing in my area and they still spawn insanely fast. When in a highly populated area on a busy channel the other people killing nearby sometimes helps keep the rooms cleared but then the 20 people running past and training stuff onto you in hallways is just as bad. It's a lose-lose.

I hadn't had any problems at all until I got to some areas in the Eldritch Academy on my scorcerer.

I'll be engaged in combat with a pack of mobs, and before the pack I am fighting is even dead, the same pack will spawn back in.

I've heard that the timer is supposed to be a 1m 30s. This seems fine to me as long as it starts counting from the time you kill the mobs. Certainly the same group you are fighting should not spawn in again as you are fighting them the first time?

I'm going to chalk it up to being a bug in some areas. Needs to be fixed though.

Instant aggro after a spawn is silly. The player should probably be given at least 10 seconds to move away.
