Stop calling them DD's

Can we please stop referring to the DPS classes as DDs, this is not a tab target auto attack rotation mmo. The Zerker/War/Arch/Sorc/Slayer are classes that deal Damage Per Second (DPS) Not [filtered]ign DD. Damage Dealers is not standard in what the MMO worlds calls them, dealing damage while surviving and not getting hit to save you healer's heals for your tank is important.

So, as a community could we please stop calling them DDs and go back to the old and standard (correct) title of DPS?

Furthermore, if we call them DD's then a Lancer, Priest, and Mystic could be called a Damage Dealer, since, they do have abilities that harm mobs. That would be stupid, calling them DD's.

There is nothing wrong with DD's and I happen to really like them. That is a very nice bra size.

I know you're just trying to joke around and all, but this is the one part of the argument you can't turn around :P

Nope, they're all DDs to me. I mean they all deal damage so why not. You can call it dps but they still deal damage so DD it is. >8^P

You know why some people prefer to say DD?

If you hear this; "Yes I am a dps!" -- what you're actually saying is "Yes I am a damage per second"

DPS was (and should be) used to indicate your damage per second. What you call "old and standard and correct" is just some players who started to use this term in the wrong way.

How would you call this sentence "correct" for example: "Hey there, I am a DPS with high DPS"

Furthermore, when you say DD, you mean classes intended to do damage, not a priest slapping something with his wand...I dont think there is anyone who misunderstands this.
