Our guild leader had the expired game time and was trying to add a subscription to his account. Unfortunately, he had the payment failed message when trying to add game time. He tried a couple of different payment methods with no luck. EME permabanned his account for attempting multiple payments (paypal and a couple cc's). Calling support was unsuccessful. To make it worse, Tera GM's don't have the ability to transfer guild leader. So we will have to disband the guild and reform. This is your subscription problem EME, can you blame us for attempting multiple payments to play the game that we payed for? Pathetic. I hope you do better, EME.

This is a disaster for EME. I am sure they are "trying" to fix it, of course they are, but fixing it doesn't solve anything for players who have this issue. This type of customer service is unbecoming of a company with a new game launching.
I can't stand Bioware's customer service. It's actually bad, they are always censoring anything, and I like that about EME, that they are a little more free-willed in allowing their customers to voice their opinions. However, when SWTOR was released, I had issues where I could not use any credit card to make a subscription. I tried 6 different cards. Called their customer service, they tried blaming it on my card, and I explained that it was 6 different cards. Still, after arguing, I spoke to a supervisor, he ran my card over the phone, and gave me 3 days of free play time. It didn't work, and I ended up having to call them back 3 more times before finally purchasing a 60 day game card. The thing is, they always gave me free time since it was their problem, not mine. It kept me playing their game. Otherwise? Would have left.
:/ That sucks, but if they're all under the same name why would they ban him? I can see if it was several different names or something... but trying out your credit cards, and paypal shouldn't land you in the permaban circle
I really think if anything cripples Tera it's going to be this kind of stuff, as much as I love the combat and the art style of the world - the numerous bugs and poor design choices coupled with what appears to be a complete lack of professional support (or any support at all) is just looking dire. The more of this stuff I read, the less easy I feel about paying a sub to them.
If I were responsible for this subscription fiasco, I would be cleaning out my desk about now. I wouldn't bother mentioning this job at EME on my résumé either.
yea its a tad bit rediculous that majority of people are fine but a handful are being punished for wanting to play there game...

@OP, Folks don't get banned if they try several different payment options and they didn't work. I know you have already, but I really recommend you to contact the Support team to figure out what exactly happened so we can help.

Its pretty disgraceful that people that pay for the game can't play due to EME's shoddy payment system - lots of people are getting this 'payment authorization failed' message, even one reviewer that I noticed.
